Fighting Against Coronavirus: DevTara Foundation Helps Needy In Lockdown
At the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, hundreds of migrant workers are away from home and their families. Their work has dried up due to lockdown. DevTara Foundation has been providing ration to those migrant workers, who have lost their jobs or are stranded at distant places.
These migrant workers are forced to stay back because of lockdown. They don’t have enough supplies to feed their family members. We are reaching out to them through our volunteers. Once we verify their identities, our volunteers deliver the ration which includes flour, rice, pulses, spices, soaps and other daily essentials.
With this initiative, DevTara Foundation is aiding daily wagers affected by COVID-19. There are several small families in rural areas that survive on daily income like domestic helps, labourers, waiters, drivers, etc.
In this economic crisis faced by vulnerable families, our goal is to support them in our best capacity, with monetary resources they deserve.
