Computer Institute Project

Computer Institute - A Project For Educating Students To Promote Digital India

India is a vast country with more than 70% of the population living in rural areas. Villages are the heart of Indian culture. But surprisingly, students are leaving from villages due to lack of modern aid to support their learning. Several students after 12th leave rural areas to move to urban cities in search of better education.

Computer and IT education have become compulsory to obtain employment. Computer skills are mandated to set a career. Although, there are no efficient computer education centres to provide proper training.

In the hour of need, DevTara Foundation inaugurated a Computer Institute on 10th of March 2020 in the village of Naubara, Uttarakhand. The institute is operated by “Timtha Vikas Samiti”. The classes commences from 1st of May, 2020.

The objective of this initiative is to empower young minds in villages with knowledge of computers. Supporting the initiative ‘Digital India’, our endeavor is to reach thousands of students in villages who are in need of quality education.

The institute will facilitate computer education to students from 10-15 nearby villages. It is the first computer institute in the village. Therefore, students are not required to leave the village to learn the required skills after 12th standard. Now students need not waste time and money to hone skills for employment in other cities and not even required to travel.

We are gratified and thankful with the immense support we have received from you all. Your donations facilitate us with means to help individuals, society and the nation at large.
